A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly and one time Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Honourable Chinwe Monu-Olarewaju, has described Chief James Ibori as a man who will hardly be forgotten by anyone that has come in contact with him.
Honourable Olarewaju, in a congratulatory message to Ibori on his 61st birthday, noted that every Deltan could testify to the goodness of the former Governor for making a difference in the governance of the state and for empowering many politically and economically.
She recalled that the Ibori administration came on board at a time Warri was in ethnic crisis and worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control, adding that the bridge of peace and unity built by the former Governor had led to stability and steady growth of the state over 12 years he left office.
Honourable Olarewaju congratulated Chief Ibori on his birthday and thanked Deltans for still recognising the great role he played in taking the state to an enviable height.
The former lawmaker prayed God to continue to guide and protect Chief Ibori in the years to come and grant him good health, long life and increased wisdom.
