Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated his Taraba State counterpart, Mr Darius Ishaku, as he turned 65 on Tuesday (today).
Okowa in a statement in Asaba on Monday, lauded the professional competence and administrative acumen of Mr Ishaku.
He noted with delight the ongoing developmental strides in road construction, education, health and security being recorded in Taraba, adding that “the immense and legendary contributions of Governor Ishaku, whose visionary and pragmatic rescue mission initiative had ensured the provision of water, roads and other social amenities for the people of Taraba State.
Governor Okowa note that the Taraba Governor had through the dint of hard work, discipline and uncommon vision won the admiration and respect of Taraba State people and the nation at large, adding that “the Governor’s commitment to the development of Taraba State was increasingly yielding the expected results,”
He said Ishaku’s focus and commitment to the growth and development of Taraba State was commendable and worthy of emulation, stressing that the people of Taraba State were indeed proud of his antecedents and achievements since they overwhelmingly re-elected him to lead the state to a brighter future ahead of them.
Okowa on behalf of the government and people of Delta State, rejoiced with the Taraba Governor, whom he described as an Architect and Urban Planner of repute, a perfect gentleman, reputable politician and an outstanding professional.
He prayed God to continually protect Governor Ishaku and grant him good health to render more services to mankind.
