The Onicha-Uku community, in Aniocha north local government area of Delta state, was on Sunday thrown into confusion when suspected kidnappers stormed the town in broad day light and abducted the pastor of a church, Anugom Solomon, popularly called Daddy, his wife and two others.
The incident took everyone by surprise because of the tight security provided by the community’s vigilante group.
The police in Issele-Uku was said to have joined forces with the local vigilante group in rescue operation and for the arrest of the suspects.
