The State,Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has lifted the suspension of 35 of its members for alleged anti-union activities.
The council, in a statement issued by its chairman, Comrade Michael Ikeogwu, and Secretary Comrade Churchill Oyowe, said it made the decision after considering the appeals by well meaning individuals in the society and union leaders.
It, however, advised members of the council to be guided by the rules governing the union and carry out their professional roles with utmost discretion.
The council restated its resolve to enhance the professional integrity and welfare of members at all times.
