The past 60 years of the life of the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has been described as fulfilling and impactful.
A PDP chieftain in the state, Dr Henry Ofa, stated this in Asaba in a congratulatory message to the Governor on his 60th birthday anniversary on Monday, July 8, 2019.
Dr Ofa noted that Governor Okowa had not only impacted on lives in his medical profession, but had also been in government at all levels, including being a local government chairman, two-time Commissioner, Secretary to the Delta State Government, a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently the state Governor.
The PDP stalwart said in all positions he had held in the past, Governor Okowa had proved himself a passionate, accountable, detribalized, focused and result-oriented leader with lots of success to show.
He prayed God to grant Governor Okowa long life, good health, wisdom and the strength to continue serve humanity, adding that Deltans should continue to support and pray for him to actualize the envisaged stronger Delta state that would be the envy of all.
