ICWLS GLOBAL RECOGNITION: Ex-Liberian Vice President, Chrisland University VC Receive Awards

A two – day intensive International Conference has ended in Abeokuta, Ogun state with the presentation of award to two distinguished Africans, the Ex- Liberian Vice President, Sir Joseph Boakai as the Most Notable and Outstanding Leader of the 21st Century and the Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Mrs Chinedum Babalola as the Most Notable and Outstanding Professor of phamarcologist of the 21st Century by the Leadership of International Chartered World Learned Society (ICWLS) under the Leadership of the World Grand President, and Vice Chancellor, Crown University College, Accra, Ghana, a World Distinguished Professor of Computer Science, and Information Communication Technology (ICT),

Professor Bashiru Aremu, who presented the Awards to the recipients. The event as witnessed by our reporter took place at Chrisland University College, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, Nigeria where African Noble Leaders, stakeholders, Civil Society Organizations, World-class Professors gathered to proffer solutions to the challenges of development.

Professor Aremu stated that the duo merited the award as the Leadership of International Chartered World Learned Society had done rigorous research on them and discovered that they deserved the awards. Sir Nyuma had served Liberian and is still empowering youths and women in Liberia, Africa and globally. He also served the government, his country and humanity meritoriously.

The 1972 graduate of Business Administration from the University of Liberia after receiving the award thanked the Leadership of ICWLS for finding him worthy of global recognition and promised to continue to preach love in Africa, unity of the continent and global peace through proper respect for culture, traditions, ethics and values for substainable growth and development.

In another development, Professor Bashiru Aremu, poured encomium on the VC of Chrisland University, Professor Babalola for her contributions to the field of Medicine, Biological Sciences globally as a world renowned pharmacologist, stating that she merited the award based on her contributions to the society and hardwork towards educational development.

Professor Chinedum Babalola thanked the Leadership of ICWLS as a well respected global body whose aims and objectives were to honour those that had distinguished themselves in different businesses, fields of learning in the society.

She commended everyone that graced the occasion from different Universities in Nigeria and abroad as well as their partner CEO Africa on the occasion of the Pan-African International Conference on SDGs and for proffering solutions to the challenges of African development.
