Delta state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekuzi I, on his 42nd birthday anniversary on Saturday 29th June, 2019.
The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, said the Dein had provided purposeful, courageous and tenacious leadership for the Agbor people over the years and deserved to be celebrated at 42.
He commended the monarch for making Agbor kingdom peaceful and investor-friendly since he ascended the ageless throne of his forebears.
Governor Okowa lauded the monarch’s contributions to addressing the issues of unemployment, social deviance and value re-orientation among youths which culminated in the establishment of the Agbor Youth Learning, Development and Empowerment Centre.
The Governor noted that the Dein also instituted cultural and traditional reformes to enhance cohesion in the Agbor kingdom, hedged up its competitiveness, raised its visibility at the national and trans-national fora, and increased the Kingdom’s strategic relevance in the traditional institution in the dynamic polity.
He joined the people of Ika nation, particularly the Agbor people in celebrating their King and prayed God to bless the monarch with good health, wisdom and strength to continue to rule the people of Agbor Kingdom.
