RATTAWU DELTA STATE EXCO DISSOLVED, DELEGATES CONFERENCE SUSPENDED

The executive of the Delta state chapter of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union, RATTAWU, has been dissolved following the directive of the National President of the union, Comrade Kabir Garba Tssani.

The directive also affects the state delegates conference of the union earlier scheduled for Thursday, 27th June 2019.

A statement by the vice predident of RATTAWU south south, Comrade Christian Ganale, says the action is to enable the national secretariat study the report of the verification committee on the alleged misappropriation of funds by the Onoriode led State Council.

The statement adds that the dissolution is with immediate effect and all officers should handover the union’s property in their possession to the care taker committee that is to be inaugurated immediately.

It thanked members of the dissolved exco for their service to RATTAWU and wished them well in their future endeavours.
