Senator-elect , Prince Ned Nwoko, has felicitated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Deacon Kingsley Otuaro on their successful inauguration for a second term.
Ned, who was speaking in Asaba shortly after the inauguration, described the event as not only constitutional but also a covenant between the Governor and the people of Delta state.
He said the massive turn out of people for the swearing-in was indicative of Governor Okowa’s general acceptance across the state and an excellent rating for his first term in office.
The Idumuje Ugboko Prince noted that Governor Okowa was prepared for his job from the onset considering the well articulated policies, programmes and projects he embarked upon in his first term to bring prosperity to the state.
Ned, a former member of the House of Representatives for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, said the impressive showing of the Okowa administration in all sectors in the past four years spoke volume of a man with the capacity to deliver, adding that the numerous awards he won were rewards for hardwork.
The Senator-elect expressed confidence that Governor Okowa would leave Delta state better than he met it and called on Deltans to continue to support his administration in order to actualize the dream of a stronger and more united state.
