Children in Agbor and the neighbouring communities Monday had a feel of the 2019 Children’s Day with fun provided by the Regina Daniel’s Foundation.
It was a carnival which had been the tradition of the Regina Daniel’s Foundation over the past four years.
The actress, now married to Senator-elect, Honourable Prince Ned Nwoko, arrived the arena to the warm embrace of an unprecedented crowd, accompanied by her husband, Ned, mother Rita Daniels and a host of Nollywood stars, music artiste and comedians, including Ejike Asiegbu, Osita Iheme, Tiwa Savage and I Go Die among others.
Addressing the children, Regina Daniels, who energised the crowd with inspiring shouts, assured them of her love at all times and urged them to remain good children to be able to realise their potentials.
She promised to sustain the annual carnival in order to continually give the children the sense of belonging.
Also addressing the children, Senator-elect, Ned Nwoko, charged them to ensure they were in school, listen to their teachers and obey their parents in order to secure their future.
He used the occasion to redeem his pledge of N20m to the twenty First Class graduates of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun.
