VALEDICTORY SESSION: OFA HAILS OUTGOING STATE EXCO FOR HELPING OKOWA TO SUCCEED

A chieftain of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Dr Henry Ofa, has commended outgoing members of the State Executive Council for diligently working to ensure the realization of the set goals of the Okowa administration captured in SMART  Agenda.

Dr Ofa, who is a board member of the State Post Primary Education Board, PPEB, noted that the emotions that radiated the valedictory session was indicative of a united house committed to a common purpose.

He commended Governor Okowa for giving purposeful direction to members of his cabinet which afforded them the enabling environment to give their best in the service of the state over the past four years.

Dr Ofa expressed delight at the impressive showing of the Okowa administration in all sectors of the state, stressing that Governor Okowa diligently delivered on promises to the people even in difficult times.

The Oghara born politician, who produced a compilation of the amazing accomplishments of Governor Okowa in his first tenure, said he was encouraged to embark on the project by the overwhelming presence of government in all parts of the state in terms of projects, policies and programmes with direct impact on the lives of the people.

He said Deltans were eagerly waiting for the inauguration of the Governor and his Deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, to kickstart the second tenure of a government that promises to take Delta state to greater heights and give the people value for good governance.
