Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu as he turned 57 on Sunday, 12th May, 2019.
In a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, Governor Okowa extolled the leadership qualities and immense contributions of Senator Ekweremadu towards Nigeria’s democracy saying, “Ekweremadu has carved a niche for himself and deserves an enviable place in history for his immeasurable contributions to the Senate over the years”.
The Governor noted that Ike Oha Ndigbo, as he is fondly called, is no doubt a gentleman par excellence, a team player and above all, a God fearing Nigerian.
He expressed his appreciation to Senator Ekweremadu for being such an amiable and able leader in the Senate and prayed God to guide, protect and grant the Deputy Senate President more fruitful years of contribution to nation building.
