In view of the prevailing security situation in the state, particularly in the state capital and its environs, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Mr Adeyinka Adeleke has placed a ban on Keke operation beyond 10pm.
A statement from the office of the Police Public Relations Officer of the command says the ban is intended to reduce crime to the bearest minimum and make the state safe for all law abiding residents.
Officers of the Command on patrol duties have been given a matching order to arrest any keke operator found on the streets of Asaba metropolis and its environs after the hour of 10pm
The Delta CP solicits the understanding of residents in this regard, while assuring Deltans of the commitment of the command to their safety at all times.
