Special Anti Robbery Squard, SARS, operatives in Lagos have allegedly killed a young boy while watching a football match in Lagos, after he was hit by a stray bullet.
The boy was reportedly watching the Liverpool FC match.
The sad incident was said to have happened Sunday afternoon at Olu Aboderin Street, Onipetesi, Lagos State.
According to an eye witness account, the officers had come to the area to arrest a guy on dreadlocks.
He alleged that they started shooting sporadically after the arrest, only for one of the bullets to hit the boy.
The victim was immediately rushed to the general hospital in Ikeja, where he was confirmed dead.
