The member-elect for the Ndokwa west constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Charles Emetulu, has assured his constituents of impactful representation that would enhance their socio-economic well-being.
Honourable Emetulu, who gave the assurance shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return at the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Asaba, said he was elected to serve and would do just that with every sense of responsibility in order to justify the confidence reposed in him and the PDP on whose platform he was elected.
The legislator-elect, who had served as commissioner for Energy in the state, said empowerment of his constituents would be given priority attention within the limits of available resources so as to add value to the lives of the people, pointing out that he would contribute meaningfully to the legislative process to promote peace, order and good governance of the state.
Honourable Emetulu paid tribute to his predecessors for their contributions to the development of the Ndokwa west state constituency and pledged to advance the cause of the constituency to the extent that his mandate as a lawmaker would allow him.
He used the occasion to appreciate the people of Ndokwa west for their role in the reelection of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and for the opportunity given to him to represent them in the State Assembly and appealed to them not to renege their support for him and the Okowa administration.
