Igbodo Kingdom Hails The Reelection Of Okowa, Nwaokolo, Elekeokuri.

The Igbodo community in Ika North east local government area has felicitated with Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on his reelection as governor of Delta State for another term of four years.

The Obi of Igbodo Kingdm, Barrister Ikechukwu Nkeobikwu Osedume the first, the President-General of Igbodo Development Union, IDU Worldwide, Deacon Mathew Okwaje, the Iyase of the kingdom, Dr Ifeanyi Unomah and the Obi-In -Council, while reacting to the development on behalf of the people, said the victory was well deserved.

The community in a statement signed by the Director of Publicity, IDU Worldwide, Comrade Nkem Nwaeke after a meeting of the Central Executive Committee, CEC, of the union, also felicitated with a great son of the kingdom, Honourable Victor Nwaokolo, on his reelection to represent the Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Obi Osedume, Deacon Okwaje and Dr Unomah thanked God for His continuous grace on Ika land
and commended the people of Ika nation and indeed the entire Deltans for their support.

While also felicitating with the Member Representing Ika North east in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Anthony Elekeokuri, for his victory at the polls, the people of Igbodo prayed God to grant the trio the wherewithal  to do more for the good of mankind.

The IDU Director of Publicity in the statement assured of the resolve of the people of Igbodo to continue to live in peace with their neighbors as well as ensure a sustainable conducive environment for development to thrive in the community.

While thanking the various ethnic nationalities in the state for massively voting for Senator Okowa for a stronger and more united Delta State, the statement said Igbodo community was on the side of equity, justice, peace, unity and progress.

The people stated that the re-election of Senator Okowa, Honourable  Nwaokolo and Honourable Elekeokuri would usher in more growth and development in the state.
