The outcome of the March 9 governorship election has been described as an affirmation that PDP remains a party to beat in Delta state.
The chairman, Governing Council of the College of Education Agbor, Chief Emmanuel Onyeukwu, made the assertion while reacting to the victory of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa in the governorship election.
Chief Onyeukwu, who is a PDP leader in Ndokwa east local government area, noted that Governor Okowa’s victory was ordained by God even before the election, as he had carved a notch for himself with infrastructural projects spread across the state, adding that his administration’s policies and programmes were people friendly.
Chief Onyeukwu congratulated Governor Okowa on his victory and thanked the people of Delta central and Delta south for ensuring that the rotation of the governorship seat among the three senatorial districts which they had benefitted from was not truncated.
The PDP leader called on Deltans to increase their support for the Governor to enable him to achieve greater feats in his second tenure.
