Ahead of the March 2, 2019 election, the people of Ndokwa East Constituency of Delta State, have been called upon to re-elect the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House Assembly, Honourable Friday Osanebi for more dividends of democracy.

A PDP stalwart in the state, Architect Ajie Oputa, made the call while fielding questions from newsmen during an empowerment programme organized for the people by the Deputy Speaker at Beneku, Ndokwa East Local Government Area.

He described Osanebi as an empowerment master, a political colossus not only in Ndokwa Nation but also Nigeria in general who had put smiles on the faces of the people.

Oputa disclosed that Osanebi had touched many lives beyond the Ndokwa Nation and urged him to keep the flag flying.

He described the large turnout of people including Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Chief James Ibori, a delegation from Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and others from all walks of life during the empowerment programme and commissioning of Osanebi’s country at Beneku as unprecedented and a pointer to Honourable Osanebi’s soaring political profile.

The PDP chieftain said Baneku, a remote community and Osanebi’s home town stood still on that fateful day, praying God to continue to strength and protect the Deputy Speaker.

Oputa commended the people for their show of love and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for commissioning some road projects in Ndokwa East, saying that the Governor deservesd a second term in office for more prosperity and a stronger Delta State
