DIG Lakanu advised politicians in the state to play by the rule and their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully or be ready to bear the consequences of violence.

He reiterated that arms would not be allowed in the polling centers and charged police personnel on election duty to exhibit a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
