IBUSA YOUTHS HOLD RALLY FOR SENATOR NWAOBOSHI, OTHERS

The people of Ibusa, in Oshimili north local government area of Delta state, have been asked to ensure they deliver a hundred percent vote for all PDP candidates for the upcoming elections.

A Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Youth Mobilization and Director General of the Delta State Community Youth Association, Honourable Innocent Osewezie, made the call at the weekend in Ibusa during a rally organized in support of the re-election bid of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi representing Delta north at the National Assembly by youths of the community.

Honourable Osewezie noted that Senator Nwaoboshi had proved himself a worthy ambassador of the Ibusa community with many development projects to show, adding that the entire Delta north had felt the impact of his robust representation at the nation’s red chambers.

He said this Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections must be taken seriously, urging the people to be prepared to make sacrifices that would guarantee victory for the PDP and its candidates, namely Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and Honourable Ndudi Elumelu.
           
Also addressing the rally,  another Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Honourable Ojeogbue Nnabuife, said despite being in the opposition at the Senate Senator Nwaoboshi had used his position to attract federal presence to Delta north through the Niger Delta Development Commission, stressing that he needed to be given a second chance to consolidate his feats.

The President, Ibusa Youth Association, Mr. Alfred Isoh, called on all Ibusa youths to canvass support for Governor Okowa ,Senator Nwaoboshi and Honourable Ndudi Elumelu and to vote massively for them in the February 16 election.

The rally took the youths to all the five wards in Ibusa.
