Delta state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has commissioned over eighteen kilometre rehabilitated and constructed roads in Isoko north and south local government areas.

Governor Okowa at the commissioning assured the people that they would have no regrets voting for the People’s Democratic Party PDP in the upcoming general elections.

Among the roads commissioned by the Governor were the rehabilitated Aviara, Okpe road and the newly constructed Okpare, Okpawa road projects all measuring ten kilometers.

Governor Okowa said the PDP in the state had continued to make life comfortable for the people, and promised to renovate the health centre and dredge the lakes to mitigate flooding and construct more road projects.

In their remarks, the Chairman of Isoko south local government, Sir. Itiakor Ikpokpo and the President General of Ariara Community, Counsellor Umulor, said the road was started by the immediate past administration, and thanked Governor Okowa for completing it to boost trade and commerce in the area.

At the commissioning ceremony of the one point nine five rehabilitated Irri College road down to Uzere junction executed by the Ministry of Urban Renewal, Governor Okowa assured the people of more developmental projects if they would vote enmass for the PDP.

He promised to complete the Eruwa road project in the next two weeks and urged DESOPADEC to expedite action in the completion of the Civic Centre, and promised to complete all uncompleted projects of the previous administrations for the overall benefit of the people.

At the expanded and reconstructed Owhelogbo, Abbi road projects with a stretch of seven point five kilometre, Governor Okowa promised to complete the sector A of the Ughelli-Asaba express road project which passed through the Isoko nation, pointing out they it had offset debts owed the contractor by the immediate past administration.

He directed that school desks be supplied to the Model Primary School at Igbuku-Oweh and approved the renovation of the Aradeh Grammar School as well as upscale youth and women empowerment programmes.

The Chairman Isoko north local government, Honourable Emmanuel Egbabor and the President General of Owhelogbo Community, Engineer James Ighota assured Governor Okowa of massive votes in the general elections.
