Pray For Peace In Nigeria-Okowa Urges Christians

Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has admonished nigerians to fervently pray for peace in the country so that development can thrive.

Speaking at the Christian Dominion Centre Asaba, during the 50th birthday thanksgiving service of Reverend Mrs Esther Ebolum, Senator Okowa said christians should pray for peace in the country as no  development could take place in a troubled environment.

The Governor urged them to always pray for restoration of the country “as the Lord will heal the land, he will pour out his spirit on the land and restore it in glory”.

He congratulated the celebrant and prayed for longevity and God’s guidance in her life.

Earlier in a sermon, Bishop Ken Ebolum who spoke on the theme : “Long Life and Restoration”, urged nigerians to honour their physical and spiritual parents so that they would be blessed with wisdom.
