The Delta state gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Great Ogburu has assured the people of Isoko nation of a better deal if given the mandate to govern the state.
Chief Ogburu, who led the Delta south senatorial candidate of the party and immediate past Governor of Delta state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Isoko federal constituency House of Representatives candidate, Joel Onohwakpor and other candidates of the party for the forthcoming elections to Ozoro and Oleh to campaign for votes, told APC faithful in the Isoko nation that the party would address the maginalisation of the area.
He urged the people not to allow themselves to be deceived by self serving politicians who had failed to recognize and translate the strategic role of the Isoko ethnic nationality in the socio-economic and political development of the state and the nation into meaningful development.
Great Ogburu appealed to Isoko people to vote Muhammadu Buhari for presidency, Uduaghan for Senate and Joel Onohwakpor for House of Representatives in the February 16 elections, insisting that the area deserved a better deal.
The Delta south senatorial candidate of the party, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, promised to attract federal presence to Isoko land if elected, stressing that the past sixteen years of PDP representation in the Senate had nothing tangible to show the people of Delta south.
