As the 2019 electioneering campaign hots up, a Delta north based political pressure group, the Okowa House to House Movement has vowed to deliver the senatorial district to the PDP at all levels of the election.
The Canvasser General of the Movement, Honourable Aneke Ifemeni, who stated this in an exclusive interview with gallantreporters in Asaba, said the House to House campaign option was adopted to follow up with the governorship and House of Assembly election so as to further penetrate the grassroots for a more effective electioneering campagn.
Honourable Ifemeni, the pioneer Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, said members of the group were already succeeding in their campaign, using the giant strides of the Okowa administration as a selling point.
The Canvasser General noted that the campaign had not been easy, but expressed optimism about victory for the PDP in the election.
He blamed the communication gap between the government and the people at the grassroots on the failure of some representatives of government to adequately educate the people on the achievements of government and get a feedback.
Honourable Ifemeni said the people of Delta north were appreciative of the good work the government was doing and were prepared to vote for Governor Okowa and all PDP candidates in Delta north.
He assured the people that a second tenure for Governor Okowa was not only deserving, but would also translate to more accelerated development for the senatorial district.
