The Director-General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Chief Clement Ofuani, has reassured residents of BONSAC and Oduke areas of Asaba that road development, general provision and upgrade of infrastructure will continue to receive the priority attention of the Okowa administration.
Speaking in Asaba, when the leadership of the Association of BONSAC United Landlords paid him a courtesy visit to express the gratitude of residents over the network of roads being constructed in the area, Chief Ofuani assured the landlords that the contractor handling phase two of the BONSAC road project would execute it in line with the existing design.
Chief Ofuani further reassured that the phase 2 of BONSAC road project, measuring about 1.6 kilometers with several associated in -junctions would be delivered on schedule, explaining that payment of compensations for affected property would be duly considered and addressed.
The DG, however, appealed to the landlords to mobilize the entire residents in their districts to actively participate in the on going political process .
He urged them to get Nigeria working again by voting in the Peoples Democratic Party at both the Federal and State levels of political authority, explaining that it was expedient for the people in the Capital Territory to continue to witness increased tempo of development .
Members of the landlords association pledged that the only way residents of the area could practically express and amply demonstrate their gratitude was to give hundred percent of their votes to Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP in the forthcoming general elections.
